KIA Vivid 2023 illuminates Sydney with an electrifying installation that merges cutting-edge technology with artistic expression, part of the city's renowned Vivid Festival. This project showcases KIA's innovative spirit through interactive light displays, digital art installations, and immersive experiences that captivate audiences of all ages. A collaboration between technologists, artists, and environmental designers, the installation not only highlights KIA's commitment to sustainability and technology but also offers a platform for exploring themes of connectivity and futurism. The event features workshops, live performances, and eco-friendly initiatives, making KIA Vivid 2023 a highlight of Sydney's cultural calendar and a testament to the power of collaborative creativity.
Our Scope
- Designed a unique temporary structure for KIA Vivid 2023, featuring a steel frame that supports a vehicle 4 meters above the ground, creating a floating effect that captivated attendees and highlighted the vehicle’s design.
- Engineered an LED frame to enhance the floating vehicle's visual impact, integrating lighting features for dramatic effect, and ensuring the structure's safety and stability in a busy public setting.
- Developed detailed connection details, scaffolding, and timber framing for the temporary structure, demonstrating Brushwood Engineering's ability to deliver innovative and eye-catching installations in iconic locations like Darling Harbour.
